French Food and Restaurant Culture

Overview: This unit focuses on building food and restaurant vocabulary and communication skills in students. The first few lessons focus on identifying foods and describing them, before moving on to learning restaurant vocabulary and communication skills. Students will learn how to ask questions, read menus and how to excel in a french community with their peers in the context of a French restaurant. The unit culminates in students creating a dramatic scene taking place in a restaurant, to be presented to the class.
